Functions of The (Federal/Central) Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal:

This is the 19th Post on Function of Executive Government of Nepal Series and 18th ministry of which functions has been listed in Both English and Nepali Language for your reference.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation is the central agency of the Government of Nepal for promoting culture, tourism and regulating the civil aviation sector of Nepal. There are 33 functions listed in the Government of Nepal (Work Division) Regulation 2074 as per Article 82 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal for this Ministry which is given below:

1. Policies, laws, standards related to culture, fine arts, religion, civilization and heritage, (१. संस्कृति, ललितकला, धर्म, सभ्यता र सम्पदासम्बन्धी नीति, कानून, मापदण्ड, )

2. Policies, laws, standards and regulations relating to sites of archaeological importance and ancient monuments; (२. पुरातात्त्विक महत्त्वका स्थान र प्राचीन स्मारकसम्बन्धी नीति, कानून, मापदण्ड र नियमन; )

3. National Museum, Archives; (३. राष्ट्रिय सङ्ग्रहालय, अभिलेखालय; )

4. Policies, laws, standards, protection, maintenance, study, research, excavation, reconstruction and dissemination of international and national historical, archaeological, religious and cultural sites and world heritage listed properties; (४. अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय एवं राष्ट्रियस्तरका ऐतिहासिक, पुरातात्त्विक, धार्मिक एवं सांस्कृतिक महत्त्वका स्थल एवं विश्व सम्पदा सूचीकृत सम्पदासम्बन्धी नीति, कानून, मापदण्ड, संरक्षण, सम्भार, अध्ययन, अनुसन्धान, उत्खनन, पुनर्निर्माण र प्रचार प्रसार; )

26. Construction, operation and management of international, regional and domestic airports; (२६. अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय, क्षेत्रीय र आन्तरिक विमानस्थल निर्माण, सञ्चालन र व्यवस्थापन; )

27. Relating to aircraft accident investigations; (२७. वायुयान दुर्घटना जाँचसम्बन्धी; )

28. Policies and standards regarding air sports adventure aviation, recreational aviation activities such as ultralight, paragliding, hang gliding; (२८. अल्ट्रालाइट, प्याराग्लाइडिङ्ग, ह्याङ्गग्लाइडिङ्ग जस्ता हवाई खेल साहसिक उड्डयन, मनोरञ्जनात्मक उड्डयन क्रियाकलापसम्बन्धी नीति र मापदण्ड; )
