Functions of The (Federal/Central) Ministry of Home Affairs of Nepal:

This is the 8th Post on Function of Executive Government of Nepal Series and 7th Ministry of which functions have been listed in Both English and Nepali Language for your reference. 

The Ministry of Home Affairs is the central agency of the Government of Nepal that maintain the peace and security of the people in the country and protect the living of the people and their freedom. There are 51 functions listed in the Government of Nepal (Work Division) Regulation 2074 as per Article 82 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal  for this Ministry which is given below:

1. Internal security and peace policy; policy, law, criteria, plan implementation and regulation; ( आन्तरिक सुरक्षा तथा शान्ति सुव्यवस्थासम्वन्धी नीति, कानून, मापदण्ड, योजना  कार्यान्वयन र नियमन; )
